Account Settings > ELM > Non-Booking Reasons
Non-Booking Reasons are reasons customers decided not to book with you. Capturing bookings is very important but not always possible. Management wants to know why so that yield, policy and perhaps training decisions can be made. Reservations Agents will be asked to provide their best guess of why this potential guest chose not to book with you on each Lead Form.
Non Booking Reasons can be managed by navigating to Account Settings > ELM > Non-Booking Reasons. From here you can click the green plus icon to add, the trash can to remove or the pencil icon to edit Non-Booking Reasons.
Below is a typical list of “Non-Booking Reasons” that may or may not be applicable to your business. We will use these options to initially set-up your account. If you would like to add or alter this list we strongly encourage discussing this with your Customer Success Manager prior to doing so.
- ADA Not Available
- Age Policy
- Deposit/Cancelation Policy
- Minimum Stay too Long
- No Availability
- Pet Policy
- Rate too High
Leads can be filtered by Non-Booking Reason in the ELM Lead Grid. (Leads > Leads > New Filter).
The Non-Booking Report also provides a look at the reason why potential guests are not booking with you over a specified time period. (Reports > Lead Reports > Non-Booking Report).
