Reports > Lead Reports > Revenue Reconciliation Report
This report enables you to compare detailed Reservation Sales Suite data to your Property Management System reservation data (only accessible if your PMS interfaces with the Revinate Reservation Sales Suite). Below is a breakdown of what each section of the report details and what different anomalies might indicate. For more information, please reference How to Understand Your Reservations Data in the Revinate Knowledge Base.
Reported Revenue
Totals by Source – For details, reference Reservation Sales Suite>Leads
- Your leads w/ dollar amount and number booked
- RZF leads w/ dollar amount and number booked
- Online booked revenue if passed to Revinate by your PMS (so NWC and PMS will balance to each other)
NWC Booked Lead Comparison
- RZF Booked Leads and Your Booked Lead Adjustments. For details, reference Leads> Leads as well as PMS data Tracking>Reservation Data. It can sometimes be difficult to determine accuracy to PMS Bookings without exporting both PMS data and Reservation Sales Suite data into separate spreadsheets to compare. With these two spreadsheets you can then match and compare Reservation #’s and look for discrepancies or missing numbers. Please contact your Customer Success Manager for assistance.
- Leads without PMS Booking: either the lead # on the lead form didn’t match or the get from interface box on the lead was disabled. In the case of a RZF booking, RZF often has a different confirmation number than the PMS booking number used in the interface, so you will often see RZF bookings in this column.
- Leads with Different Amounts: dollar amount on the lead doesn’t match for that booking # in PMS. This can be caused by nights added or subtracted to the guests stay after the RZF booking was submitted or the get from interface box on the lead was disabled.
- Leads with PMS Bookings Outside Date Range: the lead was set to booked during the selected date range, but was booked outside that date range in the PMS. This may or may not indicate a problem - for example, when a change occurs to the number of days the booking date often changes. However, it could indicate agents are taking credit in NWC for leads that were booked online or by a different agent.
PMS Booking Data Revenue
- PMS Totals by source. For details reference Tracking>Reservation Data and the Reservation Data Tool.
- Online booking in PMS, only available if your PMS passes to Revinate via an interface. See your Customer Success Manager for more details.
- May report “With RezForce Leads” if RezForce books through your website.
- Should not have revenue “With Your Leads” as this indicates agents are taking credit for online bookings
- May have “Non-Booked Lead” if the agent didn’t book a hold, but the guest booked it online. This should be rare.
- Most of this revenue should report under “Without Lead”
Your Agents’ Bookings in PMS - Should not have revenue in “With RezForce Leads” as this indicates that their agents are taking credit for RZF Booked Revenue in the PMS.
- Most of this revenue should report under “With Your Leads.”
- May have “With Non-Booked Lead” revenue if the agent had a non- booked lead form with the reservation# in it and only confirmed res in PMS, but didn’t change lead status to Booked.
- Account should have minimal revenue in “Without Lead” with the exception of clients who have group, corporate, travel agent, OTA or any other business sources where there would not be a corresponding lead with booked revenue in Revinate.
- Unknown – All revenue and bookings will show in this row if the PMS doesn’t differentiate Online and Your Agents when passing to Revinate.
- PMS Booking Total – Keep in mind that this total will almost always report higher than revenue reported in NWC because of other business sources where there would not be a corresponding lead with booked revenue in Revinate.
- PMS Adjustments. For details reference Leads as well as PMS data Tracking>Reservation Data. It can sometimes be difficult to determine accuracy to PMS Bookings without PMS data in a spreadsheet to compare to NWC Data in a spreadsheet. With these two spreadsheets you can then match and compare Reservation #’s and look for discrepancies or missing numbers.
- PMS Bookings With Missing Leads – Resorts and hotel clients will see more revenue here than vacation rental clients. This indicates that bookings are being created without Leads in NWC but more importantly there are probably not booked leads that never get included in Revinate data.
- PMS Bookings with RezForce Lead Outside Data Range – This row merely indicates that a RezForce lead booked outside the current date range but was booked in the PMS within the date range. In many cases this is just due to a difference in processing date of the booking.
- PMS Bookings with Your Lead Outside Date Range – This row indicates that a lead booked outside the current date range but was booked in the PMS within the date range.
- PMS Bookings With Non Booked Leads – Indicates that the agent most likely forgot to set the lead form to booked and only confirmed in PMS. These leads will have a non-booked lead status and a reservation number on the lead form.
- Online booking in PMS, only available if your PMS passes to Revinate via an interface. See your Customer Success Manager for more details.
