Account Settings > Templates > Email > Follow Up Setup
Note* Prior to assigning an Email template to a lead status you will need to create an Email Template. For more information on how to do this, please see the article: Adding New Email Templates
1. Navigate to Account Settings > Templates > Email > Follow Up Setup
2. To assign a template to a lead status, select the Pencil Icon within the Email Template Follow Setup screen.
3. Next, select the default email template you want to assign to that lead status.
4. Add an email subject line.
5. Finally, click Save.
Now, when you save a new lead or if your lead status changes either manually or automatically, the email template chosen will be sent to the guest. When you change the lead status you will have the opportunity to edit the template before you send it to the guest. If you have inserted automatic fields for your template (for example, first name, DNIS, res. number) please review the email before you send to the guest.
If you want to use a different template for your email follow up, within the body of the email, “select all” (Ctrl +A), delete, and then select a new template from the Insert Template dropdown menu for email follow up.
