At Revinate, we take data security seriously. We know that your account and guest data are sensitive and need to be safeguarded. To enhance the security of your guest data, we are introducing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all users. MFA adds an extra layer of protection by requiring more than just a password, but also a second form of verification to access your account.
If you have further questions check the FAQ below
MFA will be a part of the login process for all Revinate applications and users Starting on October 31, 2024. If it is your first time logging in to Revinate, or your first time logging in since MFA was implemented you will be required to set up MFA. The process of MFA will look like this:
- Enter your username and password then click LOG IN
- The MFA screen will open and an email will automatically be sent to the email address associated with your login. If you did not receive the email click the resend button under the continue button. If you are still not receiving the email after resending contact Revinate Support.
- Copy the code from YOUR email and paste it in the code.
- Enter the code.
- To avoid completing MFA every time you log in, select the "Remember this device for 30 days" option. Then click continue to login.
You will now be logged in and able to access your Revinate applications. If you do not click the 30 days box you will be required to go through MFA every time you login.
If you do not get the email, check your spam, if it is not in your spam, please click resend to have a new email sent.
FAQ
What do Admins need to do? What should we do for users who use the same login to access Revinate products?
- Review and audit your account users. Now is the time to set up individual accounts for each member of your team who needs to access Revinate. Each user must be tied to an individual, rather than sharing credentials across multiple team members
When will this roll out?
- MFA will be implemented for users as of October 31st, 2024
What will change when MFA is implemented?
The first time you log in to the Revinate platform, you will be prompted to enter a code that will be emailed to the email address associated with your login. Click on the email, then copy and paste the code to the login box. Check “remember this device for 30 days” if it is a trusted device you use often.
Why is MFA Important?
Implementing MFA helps to prevent unauthorized access and safeguard our customers' data against potential threats. With the increasing number of cyberattacks, this additional step is essential in keeping their information secure.
Will MFA be required?
Yes. MFA is considered an industry standard, used by many online services to keep their customers’ data secure. Given the amount of sensitive data stored within your account, we’re now requiring this added security measure to keep customer’s data safe.
I can't find my email even though I re-sent it, where is it?
If you have a rule that sends no reply emails to trash, you may need to remove the rule temporarily.
I did MFA to login but when I clicked to access (agent and supervisor portals or feedback) I am being asked to authenticate again, is this normal?
Yes. This is expected behavior. Guest feedback and feedback both require double multi factor authentication.
