Testing a campaign before you send it is an industry-wide best practice, so at Revinate we made it a part of the campaign creation workflow. After you create a campaign, the next step is previewing it.
If you are editing a campaign, be sure that you click the SAVE or NEXT button at the bottom of the design page before moving to the preview page, updates will not be saved if you click out of the screen with the header menu bar.
Previewing your campaign
You can click the next button or click on the preview button in the header to move to the PREVIEW step
On the main preview page you will see the email as it will generally appear on a web page and how it generally will appear on mobile. Please note that the final result will depend on the email client your guests use.
To see how the email might display on different devices and email apps click the SPECIFIC EMAIL SOFTWARE button.
Sending a test email
To send a test email click on the SEND TEST EMAIL button.
Type the email or emails separated by commas that you would like the test to be sent to in the “Enter Email Address” field and then click the DONE button to send. To learn more check out our article Testing a campaign with upsells
The test email should send immediately. You can now move to the next step and schedule your email.
Please note that the view in browser and unsubscribe links will not work on test emails.
