An automated Cancellation recovery campaign is a great way to get guests who have canceled a reservation to come back and rebook.
This new campaign type is available under the "Automated" campaign type section.
HOW IT WORKS
- A canceled booking occurs when a guest cancels their upcoming reservation and the status becomes canceled.
- This campaign will trigger based on the cancellation date of the reservation
- If the guest has multiple reservations or makes multiple cancellations:
- If the guest has another stay booked within 7 days of the check-in or check-out date they’ll be excluded from the cancellation recovery email
- If another cancelation occurs before the campaign has been sent, then the most recent cancellation will be used for sending out the email campaign
- If choosing a drip campaign, the subsequent days for each campaign are based on the first campaign (e.g. Drip 3 will be X days after the initial campaign)
- The automated email campaign will then go out to those canceled reservations.

- Two requirements to use this feature are - using the enhanced composer 2.0, and only available to customers on the Marketing PRO package. Contact support@revinate.com for more information
- Create a new automated Cancellation Recovery Marketing Campaign.
- You can test the campaign by creating a test reservation and canceling it. Verify that cancellation recovery campaigns are being sent with the correct schedule options/segmentation
