Group Level Segmentation
Group level segmentation allows you to create guest segments across multiple properties or create a segment for one of the properties from the group account without needing to log into each property account separately.
Similar to the individual property account, navigate to Guests & Segments/Segments to go to group level segmentation tool.
In the Segments page, you can find segments created for the group and for an individual property. Simply select the property from the dropdown menu on the left and search in the search bar next to it.
Creating a segment
To create a segment, click on the blue “Create Guest Segment” button on the right and you will be prompted to a question “Who would you like to include in this segment?”
Guests from multiple properties - select this option if you are looking to create a segment from multiple properties databases. This option will allow you to target, for example, guests that stayed more than 3 times in all or a selected number of properties from the group.
Guests from an individual property - select this option if you are looking to create a segment from the database of one specific property. You will need to select the property name from the dropdown list. This option will allow you to target, for example, guests that stayed more than 3 times in one selected property.
First Name your segment.
Once you select the segmentation option, the segment creation page will display. From here, you can name your segment and then begin choosing your criteria. In order to save a segment, it needs at the bare minimum, one line of criteria.
Property vs Group Contact Lists
Once selected the option “include guests from multiple properties” in the pop-up question, in the segment you can select any property database from the dropdown menu. Once selected a specific property from the dropdown in the segment, you automatically select this property’s guests as well as property's contact lists. Selected property contact lists will appear in grey.
You have an option to select “all properties” which will select all guests and all contact lists from each property. Note this option will not include group level contact lists. You can manually add the lists from the group level account.
