Permissions: These settings are available for Survey Administrators.
Set up rules to avoid sending invites to guests who meet given criteria. This can be useful if you don't want to send survey invitations to certain groups or individual guests. For example, you can create a survey email exclusion rule with your hotel domain name (@hotelname.com), so employees won't receive survey invitations after they stay at a property.
You can create exclusion rules based on the following criteria (as long as your PMS sends the specific data to Revinate):
Guest stay fields include:
- Channel
- Loyalty Number
- Room Number
- Room Type
- Rate Plan Code
- Group Name
- Country
- State
- City
To create exclusion rules for your surveys, take the following steps:
1. On the Survey area of the platform, click on "Guests" and then "Guest Segments".
2. On the "Guest Segments" page, you will want to select "Create Guest Segment". Save Guest Segment once done adding in all exceptions. Once this Guest Segment is saved you will then be able to make it an exclusion.
3. To make a Guest Segment an exclusion, click on "Surveys" then Administrator>Email Settings. Once on this page, you can select "ADD CONDITION". your Guest Segment within the Guest Segment drop-down menu.
4. Once you added all rules you need, click "save". After you next guest list upload, any guests who match your criteria will not receive an email. Note: You can create multiple email exclusion Guest Segments.
