Please note: Flex Surveys can only be assigned to individual properties, not property groups.
Flex surveys offer the ability to survey guests in an anonymous fashion. Receive guest feedback anytime during a guest’s stay via SMS, QR Codes, EMail, WiFi and more. This means that through an independent URL guests can give feedback at any point during their stay and through different modalities rather than just as an email delivered to their inbox.
For example, if you have tablets in the front lobby or during an event, guests can quickly give feedback anonymously through a fixed URL inserted on your website.
Or if you have an F&B or spa outlet and would like to receive feedback about their experience using those facilities, you could add a QR code on your receipt and get their comments without having to ask them for their contact details.
In your All Surveys page you will be able to filter by type of survey to easily identify and distinguish your Flex Survey guest feedback from your other surveys and review content.
Creating or modifying an anonymous survey
Create a new survey type as you normally would and select the survey type as ‘FLEX’. To learn how to create a new survey please see our supporting help desk article: How to Create a New Survey.
Once you have your flex survey created you would need to assign it to the property in the Assign surveys tab. Select the property and then the survey from the drop downs, and then click make assignment.
This type of survey won’t be sent out automatically to a guest list uploaded to Revinate like your in-stay or post-stay survey, so you will find a “share survey” button under the Actions column. Click on it to download the fixed URL or QR code and share it with the customer in the modality you have chosen (link on your website, QR code on a receipt, etc)
Flex surveys reporting
Your flex survey will show up in your reporting as a separate survey so you can use the filter available in each report to see the results of only this one.
In your Email statistics report, you will find a new metric called Landed. Since the user doesn’t receive an invite to complete this type of survey the engagement will be tracked in a different way.
This metric will indicate the percentage of people who landed on the survey page and the Completed (% landed) metric will show you how many people completed it.
The rest of the stats indicated in this report will show 0 as surveys will not be counted into the "Sent" metrics.
