Deleting a Survey question will also delete its information in your Surveys reporting. There are steps to safely edit and delete questions on your surveys. This action can only be performed by persons with survey administrator permissions.
Before editing a survey and possibly removing a question from an existing survey, make sure to export and save all reports containing survey data for your current survey prior to deleting any questions. The reports you will want to export and save are the All Surveys report and the Satisfaction Scores Report. For instruction on exporting see our article here.
If you delete a survey question and want to recuperate the lost data that is possible following these steps. In the survey editor page, use the drag and drop tool to add a question to your survey and select to add an existing question. Once the previously deleted question is added back onto your survey the historical data will be added back onto your reports.
