Why are there two different dates on my weekly GS2 report?
When looking at the Review Responses tab within a weekly GS2 Report, you will notice two different dates. At the very top of the report under the hotel name will be the week you selected for the report. Within the first section of the data, you will see a header saying “Two Weeks Ago”. See screen shots below. For this specific example, the report was downloaded for the date range “Oct 30-Nov 5” but the first set of data shown refers to “Two Weeks Ago”.
This is because once a response is submitted to the review site, the response needs to be reviewed and approved by the site before it is published – this sometimes takes multiple days. Once the response is published, Revinate needs up to 24-48 hours to capture the response. Due to the response cycle, a given response may likely take more than one week to be captured in Revinate. It’s typically unlikely that all responses were submitted, published by the review site and captured by Revinate in the same exact week of that current week’s report. That's why the report shows response coverage from "2 weeks ago" versus the current week.
